I miss the old Britney....

Looking at old Videos of Britneys makes me sad for what was... I loved her.. LOVED HER... and now she's Chicken Fried Trash. So sad.

Slow ambient version...

Again with examples of her performing... totally owning the stage.

Kumquats, the new detox?

Tried Kumquats today after years of hype from J. Turns out they are gods gift to citrus. YUMMEH.

A bit daunted, I didn't know if I should peel em, like a orange, or scoop the flesh out like a passion fruit... Research was due... after a quick google, I found this informative video. Thank god for the internet! After learning the about the finer points of the fruit I was about to enjoy... I dug in.

Video said to eat it whole... so I did... only I choked on the seeds they recommended I swallow. After that near death experience I managed to develop my own technique of scraping out the seeds with my teeth before popping it all in.... much betta.

All in all, I think I might just love kumquats...

DANGER: this has Blueberry Debacle written all over it.

Each year as Blueberry season rolls around... I grab the girls for the yearly pilgramage to the blueberry farms of Richmond for U-pick. Braving the hostile sun, birds, spiders, and 'reachers' (the people who have to pick on the same bush as you even though they are 500 more blueberry bushes in the freaking field... just because YOU have obviously picked the one with the 'BIGGEST Berries'... This has "Grass is Greener" written all over it.) we pick.. and we eat.. and then we pick and we eat.. and then we go home... and we eat some more... this results in the undesirable outcome of blueberry diahorrhea, because guess what? The body doesn't like eating 5 lbs of blueberries in 4 hours... surprise!!

Anyways... after purging wave after wave of purple explosions... I emerge 20 lbs lighter. Is this detox?

It's as close as I'm going to get. The girls should be proud.

Zuko is a Husky/Malamute/Retreiver cross. Fixed male 1 yr old. Very large, very friendly..not a guard dog. We are looking for a friendly family home with a fenced yard (at least 5ft high), as Zuko tends to wander off. Very sociable dog loves people & good with kids that are old enough to play with him. We're looking for a home where someone is home throughout the day & evening. Paid $350 for Zuko..willing to give him up for free to the right people. If you are interested we would like to bring him to your home for a visit. Only serious inquires please.

Lets analyse this ad...

Real Life Teddy Bears.

I've got my mother obsessed with Teddy Bear Yorkies... They weigh no more than 2-4 lbs and look like a tiny little teddy bears "forever".

I can't help but think this is a total scam... First of all they don't come with their papers, but the "importer" implies that they are of a high pedigree.

Since there is no "Teddy Bear Yorkie" I suspect it is a marketing term to sell a chihuahua x Yorkie... Makes sense really.. Coz if naming conventions go along the lines of a Puggle or a Labradoodle, then a Yorhuahua (sounds like your wah wah) or a Chiorkie (chi orc ee), just doesn't have the right ring, does it?

On top of that, the breeder claims to have imported them from Brazil, but they need a few weeks before they can go to a home due to their age, size, etc. Seriously.. can very young and vulnerable puppies that are too weak to go to a family make a rugged trip from Brazil? I cry BS. She's totally running a puppy mill.

This cutie below is $3500. This is a face I could love.. but for no more than $500.

No matter how much joy the dog would bring my mother.. she will not drop that kinda money on a dog either... So she obsessed.

Foxy, in my mind is perfect.. maybe a tiny bit smaller so I could pick her up for longer.. right now she's more than an armful... and quite chunky as well.. though, she is MUCH cuter when she's a little fat. haha.
